I enjoy following the various technical discussions even though I have
no intention of doing any of the work mentioned. It is interesting to
see the different approaches to problem solving.
Sometimes (perhaps many times) I don't have any idea of what is going
on. For example, the recent discussion about "cross valves". The
discussion was interesting, but never having taken apart a player
action of that kind sort of puts me at a disadvantage.
I crave some sort of visual so that I can follow the discussion.
I suppose the Larry Givens book may help me but I sold it years ago
when I thought I was out of the player hobby. Someday, as this
Internet thing progresses, we will be able to easily supply images
along with our text in discussions such as this one on the MMD.
Until that day though, does anyone have any web site addresses which
show the various internal parts of a player (including specific brand
parts like Duo-art, Ampico, etc.)?
