I received a response [below] from Mr. Powell, president of the
Klavier Record Company, regarding my inquiry on a roll that was
labeled "... made expressly for Harold L. Powell ..."

Dear Mr. Ellison,
The Liszt Concerto number is 100775 (12/31). This is a long playing
roll playable only on the "B" model Ampico (after 1929). In it's
original form all three movements were on this roll. Any change in the
label and for what reason I'm unable to say unless it was split up by
movements. Apparently your piano is a model "A" made prior to 1929.
For your piano, this selection was produced in a three roll set,
#70973, 70983 & 70993 (4/32).
The roll you have was made for us prior to our manufacturing operation
with all existing masters. In 1971 we purchased the entire roll
division of Aeolian Co. including rights and trademarks of Ampico and
Duo-Art. We manufactured both until 10 years ago when we sold the roll
company. We still own the rights to Ampico and Duo-Art. Unfortunately
a number of unauthorized copies have been made not using original
masters. Yes, we did manufacture under the Klavier label.
Hope this answers your questions.
Harold Powell
