Introduction & Seek Ampico Upright
By Terry Robson

Greetings to all MMD list members. My name is Terry Robson and I live
in Portland, Oregon.

I've been a player piano fan for a number of years, especially after
purchasing my first: a completely rebuilt Haines Bros. Ampico grand.
(Best adult toy every invented.) I also happen to be in the piano
retail business, working for one of the largest retailers in the Pacific
Northwest.

Unfortunately, such were circumstances that required me to sell my
piano, but I kept all of my rolls hoping that some day I could replace
it. Now, I'm in the market for an upright Ampico, hopefully located
somewhere out west.

Another very serious hobby is the theatre pipe organ. We have one in
our home along with a D-152 concert Hammond. (I'm a Hammond fan as
well.) I'm a founder of Columbia River Organ Club, now four years old,
with 200 members. Although not currently serving on the Board, I still
contribute much time planning concerts and other events for the club.

I'm looking forward to reading more of your interesting discussions
about player pianos, mechanical musical instruments and more.
