Once again, here is my new Web site about my player piano and direct
RealAudio recordings of it playing some of the finest music of this
century. To the best of my knowledge, I am only one of three of four
people doing this sort of thing in the country. I promise you a
really good show for _free_ -- no strings attached. Link to:

I am quite serious about this site. I hope to keep refining and making
improvements to it based on visitor feedback.
What's in it for me? I simply want to share my wonder about a fairly
typical 1920s player piano and I hope to inspire people with "dusty old
players sitting in the corner" to have them repaired--they can give
such great joy when they work well. I once had a "dusty old player
sitting in the corner" but how good it sounds now!
My humble little player has inspired many young people to re-evaluate
their taste in music and I have watched many older folks recall fond
memories of the 1920s. This gives me great satisfaction. It still
needs some work, but right now as a musical instrument, it sounds just
amazing. I am very new to the mechanical musical instrument world but
it is infectious and I am getting more enthusiastic about it every day.
Here are the songs that are currently on my new site which you can
listen to for free:
Blue Skies
Bye, Bye Blackbird
East of the Sun (and West of the Moon)
Five Foot Two, Eyes Of Blue
Go Into Your Dance
Honeysuckle Rose
It's De-Lovely
My One and Only
The Old Piano Roll Blues
On a Little Street in Singapore
The Sidewalks of New York
Singing in the Bathtub
Squeeze Me (Piano Novelty)
The Wedding of the Painted Doll
You're the Top
Clair de Lune
Shubert's Serenade
Maple Leaf Rag
I am still refining my recording method, so many of these songs will
be re-recorded. The best recording of my player to date is "My One and
Only" recorded just tonight. Please check it out, enjoy, and let me
know what you think.
Thank you,
Gabe Della Fave
