Why not make it as a yearbook style like the World Book or Britanica
Encyclopaedia.  A supplement to the original rather than a re-edit.
References could be made within the text to the "Treasures 1".

It would make an informative, yet separate reference guide which would
be the perfect compliment to the original.  Especially with reference to
the other, they _would_ have to seek that copy out also.  A two-volume
set.  Leaving the door open for future addenda.
