'After Hours'
By Fritz Gellerman

Robbie, is 'After Hours' on JAM 149 the same piece as that recorded
by Avery Parrish with the Erskine Hawkins band? The notes on the CD
credit it to Parrish. That is my all time favorite piano piece.

Back in the 40s I had that on a 78 record, but either broke it or
lost it many years ago. Recently I came across a re-release of Erskine
Hawkins music on CD which has 'After Hours' as well as some other Avery
Parrish solos on it. Great stuff. I would dearly love to get a piano
roll if it's the same piece.
