'Victoria' Spanish Piano Rolls
By Julian Dyer

All I can add of Victoria is that they were made by a company called
Blancafort, in Barcelona. A number of Victoria catalogues exist. They
list lots of mainstream arranged classical Themodist rolls. I don't
know that they give any other information, but can have a look.

The rolls are beautifully mastered and produced, and are the only ones
I know which have oval holes, perhaps achieved by using round punches
at an angle to the paper? This suggests that Victoria must have used
non-standard perforators. It's a make I have been intrigued by for
ages, and I would welcome more information as well !
