'Victoria' & 'Best' Spanish Piano Rolls
By Jan Kijlstra

In the most recent "Pianolabulletin", the quarterly magazine of the
"Nederlandse Pianola Vereniging" (The Dutch Player Piano Society), an
article is published in which the author, Charles van Herbruggen,
refers to a Spanish manufacturer of player piano rolls under the name
"Victoria" and, probably as lower-budget product, also under the name
"Best".

The factory was situated at Barcelona. The author is asking for
information, since very little is known about this manufacturer. Even
Bowers' Encyclopedia is not helping.

May be the MMD can be at help?

I'll be glad to forward any information to Mr. van Herbruggen.

Jan Kijlstra
