Freeze Urethane for Machining

Has anyone tried the freezer spray that is widely used in the
electronics industry?  It is readily available, convenient to use
and will potentially cool things to -50 degrees Celsius.  Seems
to be safe on all materials.

Probably just another one of my daft ideas.
