Original or Reproduction
By John A. Tuttle

Hi All, I'll throw my two cents in and give my opinion of what
constitutes and original unit vs. a reproduction: "If it walks like a
duck, quacks like a duck, and looks like a duck ... it must be a duck."

If it is modified in any way from the original configuration, it's not
original.

I go to great lengths to insure that modifications I make to original
units can be undone at a later date should the owner desire to return
the unit to an original configuration. Since this usually involves
greater costs, I give the owner the option up front. Honestly, most
people aren't concerned, citing that they don't plan to ever get rid of
the unit. Others are very concerned and are more than happy to pay the
extra fees.

There are so many examples that it's hard to pick ones out that really
tell the whole story, but if I see a unit that has a different air-
motor, tracking system, lower section or stack, it's definitely not in
'original' condition and cannot be called an original.

Just my opinion,

John A. Tuttle <john@player-care.com>

P.S. By the way, for those who have asked, 'www.player-care.com'
is my correct web site address (URL) and, 'john@player-care.com' is my
preferred E-mail address. All the others still work, but come September
the old 'PlayerCare' domain will cease to exist. The older
'concentric' address will most likely cease to exist within a year.

Business is boomin' on the net! Roll sales have already surpassed the
total for last year, and it's only March -- I'm stoked! Classified
Advertising will start April 1st, minimum $10.00/month.
