I have never heard of a reproduction piece of a mechanical musical
instrument except for what Story and Clark makes. I have heard of
plastic valves from Art Reblitz's book. I have read that Story and
Clark only has 74 playing pneumatics.
About reproduction coin operated instruments -- Why are they so
valuable if they ARE reproductions? If they make reproduction coin
operated instruments, they must make roll mechanisms and tracker bars.
Do they make these like the originals exactly? Do they generally have
a pump, or a suction box? Can people order these reproduction parts
for their own use? Do they use real leather and wood in all places?
Have they ever re-made a Seeburg G, or one of the tall-cased automatic
pianos?
