Caliola with Brass Pipes
By Marty Roenigk

There has been some speculation as to how scarce Ed Gaida's Caliola
with brass actually is. In fact, it is very scarce. I know of at
least two others that exist: one was owned by Dan Slack and then by Tom
Fretty who had it for sale, I don't know who he sold it to.

Another has been for sale for a long time in PA, at least it was as of
six or twelve months ago. At one time there was discussion as to
whether there were two models, one with pipes pointing up the other
pointing down, sounds odd. In any event, I doubt that there are more
than five in existence, including Ed's.
