Hi once again. It was good to hear that Mike Kitner is doing better.
Mike, as you know is a _very_ busy guy when restoring instruments.
Mike would always take a couple of minutes to chat whenever I was
calling to order something, I really appreciated this! I always tried
to be aware of the fact that he was real busy, and not go on for too
long. (This is real hard for a long winded Norwegian). Get well
soon, Mike!!
George Baker had some good news and some bad news. The good news is
that the CAT scan revealed the tumors are shrinking and the treatment
is helping; he has two more rounds of treatment in Los Angeles soon.
The bad news is that he is in the hospital: he has an unknown infection
and was in the ICU unit Monday and Tuesday, March 16 & 17 (not a good
way to spend St. Patrick's Day!).
As of yesterday, March 18, he is in a regular room. I spoke to him via
phone last evening and he was feeling much better, and ready to go home
if they let him. He thanked everyone again for their prayers and
concern. He will go to L.A. as soon as possible, _and_ he said he is
more than ready to go.
One quick note to thank Art Reblitz for his participation. Art is also
a real busy guy, and I appreciate him taking the time to join us.
