"Playing-In" a Roll
By Philippe Rouillé

Hi Andy,

Last Saturday (MMD 98.03.14), you said to me:

>I think you really hit the nail on the head when you said:
>
>> Remember it is easier for a pianist to imitate a player piano than
>> to make a very good roll letting you think a real pianist is playing !

We must render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God
the things that are God's; and unto Robbie Rhodes the things which are
Robbie Rhodes's.

In fact, it is Robbie who pointed that out to me when I visited him
in LA in 1996. And he showed me on the piano how this could be true.

Best regards,

Philippe
