Dear Robbie, can you assist, please? This Canadian lady sent me a
message asking about practice rooms in London. However, in replying to
her e-mail address the message gets bounced. If you can include my
return message in the Digest she may well see it as I presume she found
me from MMD. Many thanks.

Hello Virginia,
Firstly just an amusing aside. Whilst I am waiting for my mail to
download I sometimes sit at my small Challen Grand (alongside my PC)
and play a couple of numbers. Today I decided to play a rather nice
tune -- one of my favourite Bix Beiderbecke interpretations -- called
"I'm Coming Virginia". Then I turned and saw your message!
I am afraid your mail address bounced when I tried to e-mail you in
reply. Hence the message here.
I am pretty sure that I can help. I am in London next week and will
make some enquiries on your behalf. A couple of questions:
Do you wish to practice in private? There is a hotel in the Bayswater
district of central London that has a player grand in a piano bar. It
is used by a live pianist in the latter part of the evening but they
might be amenable to its use at other times. Of course it is public.
Nice place though.
What sort of time do you require - AM, PM or flexible? May I ask the
purpose of the practice? Do you intend to perform? If so I will try
to find a superior instrument.
Nice to hear from you. Best wishes for your visit.
Regards
Roger Waring
