Status of Paillard with 31 Cylinders
By Larry Greenfield

Today, I oiled all the cylinder snail cams, and the arbors, because
some snail cams would not shift and thus would lock up the shifting
mechanism. The cams would not shift due to lack of use and dirt.
There are 2-3 cylinders which are stuck on their arbor and will
probably need to be re-spun.

Also, the tune indicator does not track exactly correctly, but that
could be due to positioning and the weakness of the return spring on
the tune indicator -- will work on these things this week and report
back. I hope this ongoing discussion is appropriate for MMD.
