Hello again, In his posting on 2/19/98, Tony asks about why his
Aeolian Sting operates poorly.
In the interest of time, I would like to suggest that Tony visit the
Player-Care web domain and read some of the many articles written about
Testing Your Player Piano. New articles are being added constantly.
To date, there are articles on Testing the Air Motor, Testing the Lower
Section, Testing the Tracker Device and very soon the article on
Testing the Stack will be completed. There are also numerous other
articles about virtually every aspect of the player piano, many of
which have been written by other well-known MMD members.
Please excuse the shameless plug but it's easier for me to point Tony
in the direction of easy to use information than rewrite or repost
previously posted articles. I must say however that the MMD Archives
contain a wealth of knowledge that far exceeds the information
presented at Player-Care, ... but there's no background music. :-)
Musically,
