J. Lawrence Cook 78 Record
By Rob DeLand

I junked a 78 last weekend at a local flea market. It includes
"Cook'n the Boogie" and "Mason-Dixon Boogie", both written and played
by Lawrence "Piano Roll" Cook (and Orchestra). It's on the Abbey label,
#3029, and I haven't even had a chance to play it yet.

I knew JLC made some recordings, but I don't know any details. Does
anyone have any more Cook 78's, or has a discography ever been compiled?
Just curious.

Cheers,
Rob DeLand <rdeland@wwa.com>
