Hi All,
In keeping with my tradition, I have selected the recently upgraded
Website belonging to Sam Harris called "Player Piano Restorations
Illustrated" as the Featured Site for February 1998. You can access
the Featured Site page directly from the Player-Care Main Page
(www.player-care.com) or go directly to the Featured Site Page at:
http://www.player-care.com/feature.html.
Sam has provided quite a bit of information about himself, his family
and his involvement with player pianos for the Featured Site Page which
I think you will find very interesting. Sam also provided a very nice
MIDI file which I embedded in the page called "I'll Fly Away". I
have installed links to a RealAudio file (streaming) of the same
tune.
Promoting Websites that deal with Player Pianos is very important to
the continued survival and revival of the player piano as we approach
the 21st Century. I urge all who are involved in the trade to do
likewise. I think it was said best by a recent visitor to my Website
when she wrote:
> Thank you again for your time and efforts. I see by your new
> screen introduction that you are getting many e-mail requests and

So while I may be a bit impatient about seeing 'cash' results from
my efforts, I agree that in time, the wheel will travel full circle
and, that "WE" create demand by being there when people need us and
by staying actively involved despite what often seems like poor
economic returns.
Musically,
