UK Weber Duo-Art
By Brian Chesters

Hello again, Some time ago, I mentioned my friend in Newbury UK who
has bought an upright Weber Duo-Art player with the electric 'Steam
boat' type pump. Well I had a few days spare this week so I have
agreed to have a go at it. Two questions:

The number is 77048 and it was made in Middlesex near London. Anyone
know the year of manufacture?

Also, the striker pneumatics are graduated in length and in four sizes.
The only other player I have had with graduated pneumatics was my
Steinway grand Duo-Art. I guess its not common in Weber but what
percentage were graduated?

If you want, I can give a daily report on this one as I am here all
week till Friday only. Its now Monday evening and thus far I have
removed the top stack, removed all the old tubing, Stripped the stack
completely except for the valves. The stack is three tiers, I have
removed all pneumatics from the top tier, stripped them, cut all the
cloth in the four sizes for the 88 total and glued on the cloth for the
top tier.

I actually got further to-day than I thought I would. Update follows
tomorrow evening.
