Lacquer on Original Brass Tracker Bars
By Bruce Clark

Recently I found an old Duo-Art Tracker bar stored away for many years.
There is evidence that original tracker bars were indeed lacquered!

I lacquered my own tracker bar several weeks ago, with a light coat of
spray lacquer, masking all other areas. It looks great, and any places
where the lacquer is wearing off, it remains shiny by being polished
with the action of the roll.
