Latin Is Not Quite Dead
By Allan Merralls

Joe Roesch's article on Latin was wonderful [Digest 980111, "'Ad
hominem' Resolved']. It explained lots of parts that I have seen here
and there and tied them up. I saved it to show my literary friend.
He'll love it.

Long ago someone told me that if I had to write a contract, write
simply what I want; don't try to sound like a lawyer! I have made up
my own addition to that; don't try to sound like an English teacher,
cause guys like me will never fool one!

[ I'm happy to hear that the special topics which I like are enjoyed
[ by others too. MMD has talented authors! :-) -- Robbie
