I was speaking to someone last night who has been in touch with Harvey
Roehl. He says that the National Book Network are considering
reprinting the Reblitz-Bowers 'Treasures...' book (hope I've got its
title right), but need guaranteed sales of 300 copies before they will
consider it. Harvey is looking for interested parties to contact NBN
to encourage them, or even better place firm orders.
I just thought I'd mention the subject, as there will probably be quite
a lot of interest for this book. It is very rare to find in the UK,
the original being seriously costly! It must have had a short print
run compared to the 'Encyclopedia' which has recently been
reprinted.
It seems as if the reprint of 'Treasures' will be from an original
book, which suggests the original plates have been destroyed. Didn't I
read that the 'Encyclopedia' was reprinted from the original plates?
