Musical Prowess vs. Pumping Technique
By John A. Tuttle

Hi All, Just so that Jo Ann doesn't get confused. It is my opinion
that NO musical prowess is required to successfully operate a player
piano. On the other hand, there have been a few instructional rolls
and some literature published to educate the 'user' in the use of the
expression controls and pedal technique.

Learning how to use the controls and how to pedal the piano can turn
a basically lifeless tune into a very pleasurable musical performance.

Musically,
John A. Tuttle
