Music Boxes in the Movies
By Robert Linnstaedt

Saw "Amistad" last night with my wife. An awesome, must-see film I
recommend to all thinking humans.

In a scene aboard ship, sailors are dancing with their captive women to
the music of a cylinder box. The box is shown only briefly, but
appears to have a multiple-air cylinder about 150 cm, also high number
of notes both on comb and cylinder. It appears to have the zither
attachment, though this was not played. Any experts out there who can
identify it on-sight?
