Bellm's Museum in Sarasota
By Phillip Morgan

I have been reading the MMD for several weeks now and have found it to
be very informative and entertaining. A recent writing causes great
distress to me. I have just learned of the situation at Bellm's in
Sarasota and am depressed beyond words.

It was at Bellm's that my interest in mechanical music began. I worked
there two years while attending college in Sarasota. While I must
admit I loved the cars, too, the music fascinated me even more. Each
time we went to Florida since my college days, Bellm's was on my list
of things to do more than once; Sandra and I spent several hours there
each time.

I was unaware of the change of ownership until this morning. It is a
sad situation if it is as reported in Ms. Robertson's writing.
