There seems to be some confusion regarding updates to the roll
vendor list.

In July of 1996, I volunteered to update the vendor list.  There
were a few lists floating around and I updated and consolidated the
information into one complete list.  This listing also included updates
submitted by MMD members at that time.

If you have an update to the vendor list, please contact me and I will
be glad to revise the master list that I have.  I will also see that
the update is published on MMD for all to see (if this information has
not already been communicated to MMD).

However, if you would like an individual web site to update their copy
of this list, you need to notify the web manager/owner of that site.

In at least a few instances, some web masters have copied the vendor
list for use on their web site.  I do not have visibility to these
actions and therefore I do not even know how many web sites have used
the vendor list.  Therefore, it is up to the web site manager to verify
that all of the information they publish is current and up-to-date.

The updates I send to MMD help notify these web site managers of this
new information.  However, there is no guarantee that they will see
this new data and use it to update their lists.  That is why it is
important that you contact them directly should you want your updates
to be included at their site.

So, if you have an update, please contact me and I will add the change
to my master list and notify MMD of the change.  And, if you would like
a specific web site to make a change, please contact that web site
manager directly.
