Pipes For Band Organs

I second John Rutosksy's comments to Marc Elbasoni, in the December 25
Digest, regarding the use of theater and church organ pipes in con-
structing a band organ. I too have heard a so-called band organ built
up using church organ pipes.  And you know what, it sounded just like
you would expect, a church organ playing band organ music.

Yes, building a band organ from scratch is a labor of love and it
includes pipes, chests, facade and what ever else that's required for
a finished product.
