George P. Bent Company
By John Kadlec

I would like to add a bit of related information that may be of
interest. The George P. Bent Co. had warerooms located at 214 S.
Wabash Ave., Chicago, ILL. They marketed player rolls manufactured by
the Universal Music Co. with the early label headers of "EIGHTY-EIGHT
NOTE'' and "88 NOTE"; also the United States Music Co. with the early
label header "88" which also displays the slogan "The Emblem of Music
Roll Perfection".
