Hi Philippe,  I have contacted the auctioneer who (surprisingly) gave
me the name and phone number of the man who bought the thing.  He paid
about 600 GB pounds for it.  His name is Mr Martin Mitchell and the
number is (+44) 1386 438 387.  He plans to rebuild it, but with only the
spring motor to go with, I guess he will want to sell it shortly.
