Adding MIDI Control to Existing Player
By Scott Currier

I'll start rebuilding an Aeolian Grand soon, and am soliciting for
pointers on the best way to MIDI the player mechanism without making
major mods to the original equipment. Any pointers? Larry Broadmore's
system looks like a great avenue...

Has anyone else rebuilt an Aeolian Grand or an Orchestrelle? Am I
nuts? (Well, more so than usual? ;-)

TIA, Scott Currier

[ What type of instrument is it, Scott? A low-pressure player organ
[ may require a different valve design than does a high-vacuum player
[ piano, although the supporting electronics would be the same.
