The title of the song with those lyrics is "Music! Music! Music!"
written by Stephen Weiss and Bernie Baum, published by Cromwell Music,
Inc., copyright 1950. The Teresa Brewer recording was released that
year. QRS released a J. Lawrence Cook arrangement as Word Roll 8610.
A recent QRS catalog lists this number and another version, CEL-105-A,
played by Jo Ann Castle.
This song ought to rank right up there with "The Old Piano-roll Blues"
as an anthem for the MMD. (Oops! Don't forget "Music-box Dancer".)
Teresa Brewer had a successful singing career while she was quite
young, then retired, got married, had a family and presumably has lived
happily ever after. I have always assumed that she's American. I saw
her on the Jimmy Dean Show in the mid-1960s but have no newer info.
