MBSI Snowbelt Chapter Events
By Gordon Forcier

On February 22nd, 1998, there will be a gathering and meeting to get
more people involved in the Snowbelt Chapter of MBSI at the Science
Museum of MN. There will be on display various types of organs brought
in by members of the Snowbelt Chapter, including the Band Organ which
was purchased and restored for the Our Fair Carrousel in St. Paul.

We encourage all MBSI and Snowbelt Chapter members to bring or tell
anyone who is interested in automata to come to this event. This is a
joint effort with the Shubert Club of St. Paul. If anyone does not
know of the Shubert Club, it is an organization which is involved in
music preservation of all types.

This will surely be a special and gala event, please encourage anyone
who plans on making a trip to Minnesota to attend this.

Also, on a different note, MBSI-Snowbelt will be having a one day organ
rally at Como Park Pavillion in Falcon Heights, Monday May 31st, 1998.
Anybody heading for the Mid-Am and ABOA rallies are welcome to bring
their band organs, street organs or what have you to this rally.
Start time is Noon and play till 5 p.m..

We are working on a 3 day event for 1999, and will send out information
on where and when that will take place.

Sincerely,
Gordy Forcier

P.S. Robbie, can you get a copy of this to Beatrice Robertson for the
MBSI web site? Thank You. [ Done ! -- Robbie
