Yes, spam is a nasty thing and AOL is king at providing it to it's
members.  For those who wish to get free webpages I would suggest
"Geocities.com", a place where you can get web space and e-mail
addresses for free.  I also use "Freeyellow.com" which has my web site
on it.  They provide 5 meg of free web space and 5 pages at no charge.
(You just have to put up with little ads on your web pages.)

There are a whole bunch of other spots out there for free web pages.  I
pay $145.00  CDN a year for my ISP  (33.6K line) for 1200 hours on-line
that's about $100.00 U.S.  and no spam.  and I get free web pages!
