Foxtail Secure Web Site is Restored
By Jody Kravitz
The Foxtail Group's "secure web site" has been down for a couple of
weeks due a technical problem. I'm pleased to announce that it's back
on-line now and once again we can safely process MasterCard and VISA
transactions over the Internet. Those who've wanted to support the MMD
via VISA or MasterCard and haven't done so yet should use the following
URL:
https://sales.foxtail.com/forms/mmd_charge_form.html
I previously announced the availability of Wayne Stahnke's "Live
Performance" series of diskettes. A complete listing of them is
available at:
http://mmd.foxtail.com/livep
I now have in stock Wayne's "IP-5003 Katherine Bacon: The Complete
Recordings". A description of the diskette is available via the URL
listed above.
We're working on a more general sales mechanism operated by The Foxtail
Group (my legal DBA) to help support the MMD operation. I'm pleased to
report that very soon we'll be able to provide CDs and cassette tape
recordings by the "South Frisco Jazz Band" (Old Style 'Dixieland' Jazz).
Robbie's been pretty quiet about his band activities, but others have
reported here that he and the band do great stuff. I personally think
the band's albums are a lot of fun. I'm negotiating to put some
RealAudio clips of tunes from the records up on the web site, so people
can know in advance what they are getting.
I'm currently working on "shopping cart" software which will allow
people to select items that they want, and then go on to a secure
credit-card page to provide payment information. I'll make another
announcement when the software is ready. In the meantime, it's still
possible to submit a secure credit card order by filling out the
regular MMD Charge form (URL listed above) and specify what you are
ordering in the comment box.
Sales from The Foxtail Group's Secure Internet web site help to keep
things going here for MMD, so I hope people will give it a try.
Thanks,
