MIDI'ing a Reed Organ
By Scott Currier

Has anybody added either a roll player or a MIDI system to a Reed or
Parlor Organ? The mechanisms are so simple, that it would appear to be
a simple addition. There appears to be enough space in those cavernous
old cases that a system could be added without altering the authentic
appearance or performance of the instrument.

I know player organs were manufactured, I was just curious if
anyone has done a modern day retrofit.

On a related note, does anyone know of an Aeolian Orchestrelle
for sale?

Regards,

Scott Currier
