Hi David,  I suggest that you look up the following references:  "The
Musical Box -- A Guide for Collectors", by Ord-Hume, with Lador on
pages 232, 291, 300.  You will find out that Lador and Cuendet were
bought out by Reuge.  Lador business was founded in 1890 in Ste. Croix.

Also look up pages in the Ord-Hume book that discuss Cuendet and Reuge.
There is also information in the Bowers Encyclopedia about Reuge and
Cuendet.

I have examples of all three types of makers and have developed my own
"Fact Sheets" on these makers as they relate to my boxes.  If you would
like them, give me your fax number, etc., and I will send them to you.
