Dave Chisholm wrote about these rolls a few magazines back. I have about
12 in my collection and his mail prompted me to look at just what I did
have. The lowest number in my collection is 107 and the highest 35028.
This last number would seem to be a separate block as all the others fit
into the 100's the highest being 178. However a couple do not have
numbers on them. & have pencil writing on the beginning of the roll
indicating that it is the master roll. It would then state roll length
eg. 10yds 4 ins. the electric, one roll number 178 gives the date in
pencil as well as October 1928. I think most are of NZ artists... One roll
number 120 Georgette, Fox Trot by Brown- Henderson has the following
information in pencil on the roll... 341 cyllables, 128 small holes,
9 yards 2 ft 9in electric, 9 yards 2ft for model D, 9 yards 2ft 3 ins for
8B, Master roll, Georgette Fox trot There are two label and box types. I
can provide further information if anyone is interested.
