For Tim Baxter's web page, I have two period instructions books and
I wouldn't mind photocopying excerpts of them:
"The Player Pianist," by William Braid White is a 138 page authoritative
treatise written by a renowned expert. About half of it is devoted to
history of music, stories of composers, etc., and the other half relevant
to proper use of the player piano.
"Good Times with your Gulbransen," a 78 page booklet mostly an
advertisement for the brand, two pages of which give instructions for use
of the pianola.
Send your snail-mail address and I will copy the appropriate pages and
send to you.
