Savin Rock Carousel Band Organ
By Marty Roenigk

Bill Black inquired about the band organ from the Savin Rock carousel.
We purchased a large Gavioli, converted to 66-note Artisan rolls, about
two years ago, from Bill Edgerton. He had purchased it from the son of
a private CT collector. This organ was on the carousel at Savin Rock and
we had a photograph of it there. We sold it to a private collector in
Wisconsin who is having it restored. It was a beautiful large organ with
a large carved moth on the front.
