For Sale: The entire Cooley collection is now for sale !
Hi gang, There comes a time in every collector's life when they have to
just "let go" of all the treasures they have accumulated over the years.
(Collectors don't have to "give the stuff away" but eventually they must
"let go".)
For the first time, our entire collection is for sale. The collection
has some of the most desirable pieces that any collector could hope to
find, i.e., Seeburg "H", "G", "K", "KT", "KT Special", "L", Link "A",
Duwyn 86-key Dance Organ, Two Losche Orchestrions, One Frati Orchestrion,
4 band organs, interchangeable music boxes, a 9-1/2-foot-high Polyphon
Grand Hall Clock, the Blessing 3-figure automaton Robot Band, large
upright disk music boxes, several Eroicas, automata ("Tightrope Walker
and Black Smoker"), bird boxes, four crank organs (two antiques),
whistlers, a Wurlitzer Photoplayer and over one hundred other items.
Some of the items have been in our "private collection" for a long
time and never before offered for sale (by us). All items are available
as "fully restored", ready to put in place and enjoy for many years to
come. (Currently 11 major pieces are undergoing a "near museum quality"
restoration in a Canadian restoration shop (three generations of
experience).
To better inform you about the items, we have established an absolutely
fantastic web page, with about 50 different sections (recently revamped
for your convenience in shopping). As you browse you will hear many of
the 50 fantastic midi tunes that play each time you leave the main page.
So you won't get bored, even the Main Page changes tunes each time you
return. Many major items have pictures and descriptions. (E-mail
pictures and descriptions are available on most other items, if your
computer can accept pictures.) Other sections of the Page include a:
o complete inventory price list (for September, 1997)
o section to list items you have for sale
o section to list items you are looking for; maybe we can help.
o an opportunity to join our "Newsletter" so you can consider items
before they are listed on the page; progress reports on items being
restored and advanced notice of price changes, etc. etc. The
Newsletter will be issued as appropriate.
o links to other great sites and "search engines"
Our web page took over 1,000 "hits" as it was being developed. So if you
are looking for a "special piece" for your collection or just want to
have fun while listening to some great midi music, contact our page at:

If you are interested in the entire collection before it gets broken up,
let us know.
Thanks,
Rick and Betty Cooley, Hockessin, Delaware, USA
