Crush Collision March
By Peter Neilson

(Roger Waring asks about the opening strain. Two rolls disagree.)

I have a book of Joplin piano music that is facsimiles of sheet music.
My copy shows the B-flat. Indeed, if you try out both versions on the
piano, by hand, in octaves, the sequence from the C# to Bb to A sounds
ominous, while the C# to B to A sounds like the A scale. The nature of
the piece leaves no doubt of Joplin's intent. Go for the ominous.

Could you identify the particular rolls you have?

[ never detected by others at the music roll company. -- Robbie
