Excuse me if this has been stated -- but is the new reprint strictly a
replica of the original edition, or are there any additions, corrections,
or deletions? I.e., is there any reason someone who already has a copy
should want this one (other than for when the first copy wears out)?
My guess is this is an exact replica, since a proper updating of this
landmark work would take years to do halfway right.
The new $80 price is excellent. I paid at least that much two years ago
for an original, still in shrink wrap. Now, if someone knows where I can
buy "Barrel Organs" reasonably.

[ The Encyclopedia is a new printing from the same plates as the
[ previous 12 printings. It should be as nice as before. To my
[ knowledge the book was never revised, therefore the new printing
[ is identical to the first edition of 1972. It's not a replica --
[ it's the 13th printing of the Real Thing !
[
[ Speaking of "replica": If Keystone Music Rolls produces new Ampico
[ music rolls from the original masters (or sub-masters), should we call
[ the product "new" or a "replica"? What if Custom Music Rolls makes
[ a roll which matches the 1920s version hole-for-hole, but without
[ using a 1920s master roll?
