Seek Spring-Motor Repair Shop
By Mark Merrill
I am looking for parts and information for a table top model phonograph
I have that needs restored. I believe it is very similar to a Columbia
standard machine. I need a horn. It is the type of horn that screws
into the holder. The threaded area is approximately 1 3/4" or 2" in
diameter. The horn would be of the smaller morning glory type. I will
take a horn in most any condition. If anyone knows where I can locate
one I would be forever grateful.
I also want some opinions on where a good place (and inexpensive) is to
send the motor in to have the mainsprings replaced. The on/off switch
was broken off and needs to be re-tapped so it will screw on to the speed
control screw. Thank you for your help on this matter.
Sincerely,
Mark Merrill
