Thanks to everyone who's sent compliments about the site and to those
with suggestions for improvements!

I haven't had time recently to update the site - which I should have
done regularly - but a disastrous month which led to a complete rebuild
(and upgrade while I was at it) of my computer, combined with lots of
work and Rotary commitments has kept me busy. Now the machine is fixed,
perhaps I can use it rather than shout at it.

As far as the coming events listing and US events is concerned, I
apologise for the level of non-UK information but I do not include
anything which the organisers have not confirmed. The first year I
prepared the listing, I was accused of damaging the attendance at a UK
event by printing the wrong date. The info printed had come from a
committee member of the event organisation by telephone - he denied it,
of course. Now I will only publish information I can point to on a piece
of paper (letter, fax, e-mail).

I approached a number of US organisers by letter but the response was
decidedly poor. (Out of 450 or so letters I sent out in December 1996
with a SAE for the reply, I received answers from about 250 world-wide).

If anyone in MMD knows about an event in 1998, please send details to
me.  It will be included in our paper listing and sold on rally fields
as well as sent out to members.
