I recently bought a pair of Seeburg A roll pianos. I had to buy a model
A to get the model C that I wanted, so I'm offering the Seeburg A for
sale.
It has a nicely styled mahogany case with fluting on the legs and fall
board and a clear glass panel. The case has a 3-inch piece of veneer
missing from the top front of the piano side. The piano seems to have
its original (although re-varnished) finish and decal, original motor,
coin mechanism, etc. The piano has plastic keytops and someone has added
some new tubing and recovered the reservoir, although the pumps and
pneumatics appear to be unrestored. The hammers and piano action are
complete and in decent shape.
It's a clean complete instrument and I'm asking $2900. No rolls
included. FOB Los Angeles. Interested parties may reply to me directly.
I'm also looking to buy a set of five domed art glass panels for the
Seeburg C. This piano has the original clear glass beveled windows, but
I'd prefer a set of stained glass windows if anyone has a set or knows of
some for sale.
Thanks
