Makers of Themodist Player Actions
By D. L. Bullock

I suspect the Themodist pianos were mostly UK built except for AEolian
pianos. I have only seen snakebite tracker bar holes on British and
early American (pre 1910) and AEolian pianos. I found it on an English
Triumph Autopiano where it was labelled "Triumphodist" I suspect it was
a good idea that the Brits stole because the American patent laws would
not let the American companies do so. The triumph had an "Autopiano(?)"
stack that was for all purposes a Cable Nelson stack with the oval
pouches in two tiers. This made for a shorter piano and stack.
