Bruder Organ at Organi Zanin, Italy
By Pedro Castillo

Friend Robbie: Sorry. Forgive. I not speak English. Uso traslator.

Desire to know if can connect me with the author of the photos that are
shown in "The varios files" (Web) identified as ZANIN (l, 2, 3), and if
exists text on them that I could consult?

As I have 64 years and no knowledge of computacion, I am very grateful
for their/its/your/his response; they are to study by people in my home.

Affectionately,

Pedro Castillo.

 [ Editor's note:
 [
[ ! Hola, Pedro ! Your letter is very good. Here is the letter which
 [ describes the Bruder organ:
 [
 [> From: zanin@qnet.conecta.it (Giovanni Zanin)(fwd)
 [> To: rollreq@foxtail.com
 [> Date: Sun, 26 Jan 1997 14:02:41 -0800
 [>
[> Subject: FS: 72-key Bruder Organ in Italy
 [>
[> I am forwarding the technical exact specifications of automatic organ
[> built by the sons of WILHELM BRUDER of Waldkirch Baden ca. 1816.
 [>
[> The organ is in good condition, but in view of its age some restoration
[> work will be necessary to bring out the full beauty of the magnificent
[> instrument's potential sound quality. Our Company, which has specialized
[> in the construction of traditional pipe organs, has never built organs
[> of this type. It therefore difficult for us to make any estimate of the
[> organ's price but considering the unique nature of the instrument a
[> reasonable figure might be around 100,000 USD. I look to hearing from
[> you in the near future.
 [>
[> TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION: comprises a wind chest with six sliders and a
 [> series of 72 buttons operated by a pin-studded belt. The wedge-shaped
[> bellows are fed by means of crank-operated pumps. The automatic piano
[> roll contains ten different pieces (waltz, polka, marches ...). The
[> body is superbly decorated and mounted on wheels.
 [>
[> STOP CONFIGURATION: TRUMPET 8' BASS, FLUTE 8', MIXTURE 2 RANKS,
[> QUINT SOPRANO, DIAPASON 2', KLOSTER, VOX HUMANA 3 RANKS SOPRANO.
 [> Total pipes 308.
 [>
[> DIMENSIONS: HEIGHT 176 CM, WIDTH 169 CM, DEPTH 90 CM.
 [>
 [> Yours faithfully
 [>
