FS: Baldwin Grand Welte-Mignon
By Michael J. Wathen

I am a piano technician in the Cincinnati area. Last spring I acquired
a Baldwin grand 5'8" from an estate. I was surprised that it had the
additional feature of Welte-Mignon player (Licensee). It was manufac-
tured around 1920 has the double legs and I believe it is Walnut although
the finish is very dark with age. The ivories are mostly gone.

Nothing has been done to this piano. Everything is original and of
course severely deteriorated, tubing is disintegrated as well as the
bellows. You know what I mean. I also have about nine rolls in good
shape.

I was looking for a piano to rebuild and this seemed like a good candidate
except that I am neither willing to pay for the player to be rebuilt or
interested in doing it myself.

I am willing to sell it for $3200.00. If I sell it from a referral off
this list I will donate $200 to the list.
