Value of Whistling Bird
By Bill Jelen

Would anyone be able to give some general guidelines in figuring the
value of a very old mechanical whistling bird in a cage? It is a gold
colored cage, about 8 inches high. A single black bird sits on a perch
inside. When you wind up the mechanism and turn it on, the bird whistles
and the head moves back and forth.

I can find no name on the outside of the cage. The bird has never been
restored, but still works fine. I would guess it has been in the family
for 50+ years. Thanks for any advice anyone might have.
